Membership & Friendship

People who want to be fully involved in the life and ministry of Peace Lutheran Church join as members by baptism, by affirmation of faith, or by membership transfer from another congregation.

Pastoral care is offered during times of need.  Prayer ministry, basic counseling, hospital visitation, nursing home visitation, and other services are available upon request.

Women of Peace are circles of women active in study and in service projects.

Men of Peace is a monthly breakfast fellowship for men on the second Wednesday of each month at 7 AM at Grandpa’s Crossing in downtown Deshler.  We share a 20 to 30 minute study followed by breakfast.  Our most recent study was on the interpretation of Scripture.

Youth of Peace is a ministry with high school youth led by Kristi Duensing.  Through worship, study, fellowship, and mission projects, high school youth are connected to each other and to God and empowered to make good and Godly decisions in life.
